That one person who saves you

That one person who saves you

One day, we face the circumstance that one person makes our vitality perish.

One callous and hostile remark can kill one's mood.

One cold and dismissive glance can poison self-worth.

That one day, we feel the most vulnerable on the edge of the cliff with our mind and soul caught up with the one person who depreciated us.

On the other hand,

there comes a day, or even on the same day,

we realize one person can also revitalize our energy and spirit.

One sensitive and considerate notice of one's sadness can bring about the rebirth of courage.

One sincere and heart-warming hug or words can purify all the toxic darkness in one's heart.

One person can mean the world in both ways just like a double-edged sword.

The thing is what I can do when it happens.

If there is the one who ruins my day,

remember what it feels like to be alone and abandoned.

Then sensitively catch someone's distress and discouragement like a wounded healer.

If there is the one who revives my day,

remember what it feels like to be cared for and cherished.

Then beautifully make the best of your ability to love for those who desperately need it.

It means both experiences matter a lot.

In times of both anguish and appreciation,

welcome the situation,

perceive the emotions,

and resolve on doing worthwhile good deeds later.

You would also agree or realize that

being the one who can makes one's day

can actually makes my day the happiest.

Therefore,

I promise myself not to hesitate the act of kindness

even on a day when I feel disheartened.

Because it must be the fastest way to hearten my feelings at the same time.
