To coexist with an ill heart
To coexist with an ill heart
Whenever you feel down,
turn your face to the people right next to you
and lift your head to the branches of tall trees drawing their masterpieces
on the deep blue sky.
Whenever you feel empty,
make your thumbs touch your arms and your other four fingers to pray
not tapping your smartphone screen to blindside your true persona.
Whenever you feel unloved,
infuse life into your bygone romance by awarding them sincere words
to describe what you lost, regained, slayed, redeemed, and distorted to fantasize.
Whenever you feel lost,
intentionally take different routes unlike other paths the majority take
so that you can feel wandering in the unpredictable dreams nobody can invade.
Whenever you feel unbearable to coexist with an ill heart,
do not force yourself to grin or giggle
but grimace, groan, or grieve
enough to have the ill heart its maximum energy of negativity
and explode only to let you cringe, ridicule, and fail to remember what happened
in the very next refreshing morning that brings euphoria from trivia.
