Corinthians 13: 3-7

So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. 

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.

Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.

Love doesn't strut,

Doesn't have a swelled head,

Doesn't force itself on others,

Isn't always "me first,"

Doesn't fly off the handle,

Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,

Doesn't revel when others grovel,

Take pleasure in the flowering of truth,

Puts up with anything,

Trusts God always,

Always looks for the best,

Never looks back,

But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies.

사랑은 오래 참습니다.

사랑은 친절합니다.

사랑은 시기하지 않습니다.

사랑은 자랑하지 않습니다.

사랑은 교만하지 않습니다.

사랑은 무례히 행동하지 않습니다.

사랑은 자기 유익을 구하지 않습니다.

사랑은 쉽게 성내지 않습니다.

사랑은 원한을 품지 않습니다.

사랑은 불의를 기뻐하지 않고 진리와 함께 기뻐합니다.

사랑은 모든 것을 덮어 주며, 

모든 것을 믿으며,

모든 것을 소망하며,

모든 것을 견뎌 냅니다. 

사랑은 영원합니다.

The Peace Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen. 

나를 당신의 도구로 써주소서.

미움이 있는 곳에 사랑을

다툼이 있는 곳에 용서를

분열이 있는 곳에 일치를

그릇됨이 있는 곳에 진리를

의혹이 있는 곳에 신앙을

절망이 있는 곳에 희망을

어두움에 빛을

슬픔이 있는 곳에 기쁨을 가져오는 자 되게 하소서.

위로 받기보다는 위로하고

이해 받기보다는 이해하며

사랑받기보다는 사랑하게 하여 주소서.

우리는 줌으로써 받고

용서함으로써 용서받으며

자기를 버리고 죽음으로써 영생을 얻기 때문입니다. 

I pray.

May God let me remember I am beloved by the perfect reflection of the definitions of love above.

May God lead my life toward the path 

of enjoying, reacting, and making a return for His love
for God's beloved people in this world. 

May God shape my willingness and maturity 

so that I can take after the way You love me as I love somebody.

May God stand by me during the process of accepting and understanding

Your unconditional agape love, 

which can be hard for me to confront doubts, guilty, and scars.

I pray sincerely.

And I believe that

You will never give up on my journey in life

You trust that I can go through any struggles with your companion 

and You will take care of me as my Father and Friend,

just like you have done in the past, present, and so future.

Lord,

I hope, and I decide again

 to appreciate no matter how I feel, no matter whom I am with, 

and no matter what happens

by your will and power.

Amen.
