You Are Enough

Enough

You are enough.

You might think that you should be better at some things that you find difficult.

But have you recognized what you have sown?

You might doubt that you are worthy of being loved.

But have you remembered how much love you have shown to others without calculation?

You might be unsure if you can go through all the ups and downs to earn what you target.

But have you realized that you have achieved incalculable and unpredictable great and small so far?

You might fret with the anxiety of missing out and getting left behind.

But have you not noticed the judgment of this world can make EVERY one feel jitterous, so it is not about your inability or valuelessness?

You might feel moody and gloomy on random nights with random causes and consider it pathetic and useless.

But have you weighed the importance of noticing and embracing no matter what emotions you have to look back on what you missed in the hectic life?

You might be drowned in the depths of emptiness and loneliness comparing yourself to others’ happy moments.

But have you learned that humans are born to feel alone so that they can feel grateful for the community, not taking it for granted?

You might come up with your scars that have been carved throughout the past, feeling helpless.

But have you understood that it’s not your fault, and the fact that you did not give up your life and will to love others is enough?

You might be sick and tired of people who make you feel down and offended.

But have you agreed that they do not deserve your love but you were not being rude, an eye for an eye, which proves that you are different and mature?

It is so easy to forget the fact that we are already enough.

We are obsessed with striving for taking more than one step forward every day but overlook what we have left behind, somewhat precious and meaningful, in a rush.

A missed call to grandmother.

A missed sentence of love for mother.

A missed gratitude hid by greed.

A missed break to relax my mind and body.

A missed joy by being too serious.

A missed scent and flavor of what we drink and eat.

A missed reminiscences that we might have enjoyed frequently.

A missed opportunity that we passed by, looking only forwards.

When we believe

that we are enough to sit back and relax,

that we deserve so much love from others,

that we are beautiful in our ways,

that we are blessed with prayers and pledges,

then life would be so much simpler.

When the thoughts and feelings get complex,

do not take it seriously

and do not make secondary and tertiary judgments over them.

No matter how inner voice tries to fool you

that you are not enough,

Keep in mind that you are enough,

a being full of potential, mystery, quirk, dearness, and lessons:-)
